Shipping/Receiver I – Third Shift

Duties

  • Complete forklift inspection form at the beginning of every shift.
  • Organize and pack finished goods to specification daily for transfer to storage facility.
  • Communicate effectively with peers through each shift.
  • Off load LTL trucks and full-container loads of incoming shipments utilizing forklift and hand dolly.
  • Verifying condition of shipment’s contents, and accuracy in relation to BOL/packing list prior to full acceptance.
  • Process all incoming receipts in a prompt, accurate, and efficient manner.
  • Monitor waste receptacles and consolidate drop boxes as necessary.
  • Stock and maintain production materials to established levels.
  • Update inventory tracking sheets upon material movement.
  • Assists inventory control with cycle counting components and finished goods.
  • Organize and maintain clean warehousing and receiving areas.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Skills/Knowledge

  • Working knowledge of raw materials, warehouse and production scheduling.
  • Obtain forklift safety certification through Itek Energy’s forklift safety course.
  • Experience operating forklifts in a variety of conditions, including indoors, outdoors, in cramped spaces, and loading and unloading freight from trailers and containers.
  • Current valid state-issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
  • Able to package materials appropriate to the shipping and storage methods.
  • Strong communication and math skills.
  • Ability to read and write in the English language.
  • Attention to details as well as accuracy of parts counting.

Education/Training and Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year of experience in warehousing, shipping and receiving duties.

Inventory Control

The Inventory Control position ensures that Production and Management are accurately appraised of inventory status and materials procurement, among other duties. This position requires attention to detail, accuracy of reporting, and excellent communication skills.

Duties

  • Monitor and control inventory integrity
  • Maintain product identification and location program Research inventory discrepancies and make necessary corrections
  • Manage physical inventories/cycle counts/random or receipt audits/reconciliations
  • Use Lean tools and Toyota Kata methods to identify current and target conditions, obstacles, and PDCA cycles to achieve goals
  • Assist Quality department to track non-conforming product
  • Assist Customer Support to account for and process RMA product
  • Document and control non-conforming material
  • Develop and maintain Production Bill of Materials
  • Monitor the execution of production plan and resolve any potential issues in a timely fashion
  • Monitor and organize consumable items to best suit production needs
  • Process receipts within QuickBooks and reconcile with open purchase orders
  • Coordinate with Accounting for invoice discrepancies
  • Provide guidance to material handlers for inventory tracking on production floor

Equipment Technician, Electrical & Controls – First, Second, and Third Shifts

The Equipment Technician will be responsible for instrumentation engineering, maintenance and troubleshooting—ensuring reliability of the Electrical & Control infrastructure of our facility. This person will support manufacturing and other departments with reliable operation. Assist in electrical instrumentation, mechanical, and process operations. Position may require occasional emergency onsite response during off-duty hours.

Duties

  • Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process, quality, and reliability of the systems in place
  • Assist in the development of annual and periodic maintenance plans
  • Manage the construction activities of internal staff and outside contractors
  • Assist emergency response teams and other facility and manufacturing efforts
  • Provide engineering, planning, evaluation, and execution of improvements to the system operation
  • Use Lean tools and Toyota Kata methods to identify current and target conditions, obstacles, and PDCA cycles to achieve goals

Desired Skills

  • Proficiency on instrumentation, control, PLC & HMI programming, and computer networking

Production Assembler 1 – First, Second, Third, and Weekend Shifts

Performs duties related to the disassembly, assembly and repair of project units as required. Individuals with a natural mechanical aptitude and the ability to problem-solve perform well in this position.

Duties

  • Aligns, fits, and assembles component parts into completed units, using hand tools, fixtures, and templates
  • Verifies dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to specifications, using tools provided
  • Operation of semi-automated equipment used to build assemblies and subassemblies

Quality Technician I – Weekend Shift

Possess a good balance of hands-on technical competency, familiarity with quality systems and good understanding of requirements for calibration, inspection criteria, manufacturing processes, document control, together with great interpersonal skills and the ability to learn and apply new knowledge to resolve problems. This position primarily focuses on inspection, data collection, data management and communication/data visualization.

Duties

  • Support/assist the Quality Team, as part of a team or as a lead role
  • Conduct Quality audits, sampling and/or testing
  • Data collection, data management and communication/data visualization.
  • Ability to notice inconsistencies or lack of process improvement and notify supervisors and other production staff of problems and assist in identifying and correcting these problems
  • Develop a broad understanding of how value is created as well as the knowledge of specific people (tribal knowledge), processes and products. Each opportunity will build upon and complement past experiences.

Production Shift Supervisor – Weekend Shift

Manages production during a given shift—overseeing the staff, ensuring quality control, monitoring equipment, and handling all other day-to-day aspects of production.

Duties

  • Responsible for management of production and production staff within a given shift including, interviewing, training, and supervising of production staff
  • Oversees and is responsible for the day-to-day operation of a production area
  • Reports and tracks daily progress to the Operations Manager to ensure goals are being met
  • Ensure that quality control, safety, time management, and other programs are being followed
  • Ability to perform all tasks associated with the production of product
  • Use test equipment to test functional performance of completed electromechanical assemblies
  • Work with other teams to ensure improvements and efficiencies are being maximized

Required

  • Three years of manufacturing experience
  • High level of attention to detail to ensure that quality standards are being met
  • Ability to work with people and good understanding of when to involve a superior member of staff
